3) Embolden the books you LOVE. (But meh, none of these are really my favourites, and I'm kind of put out by that. Apparently the popular vote doesn't have my taste. No surprises there.)

Date: 2008-06-29 02:22 pm (UTC)I would add "The Earthsea" books by Ursula Le Guin, the Foundation books by Asimov, and I have just discovered Pierre Mangan, a very gothic/magic realism French writer - see The Murdered House and its strange sequel Beyond the Grave....books that stay with you...
