dryfterI saw Inland Empire, and by the end of the three hours, I was so confused I could almost cry. I have a few vague ideas about how the plots might fit together, but really - this movie has less linear narrative than any other Lynch film.
It's powerful, it's intense, it's moving, but goddamnit I still have no idea what it was really about. If you like that kind of thing (which I do), then go and see it!
According to IMDB, the Polish version is even longer (192 mins vs 172 mins). I wonder what was cut?
