Today's whinge is: Why don't people selling bicycles on ebay list the frame size? Grrr!

My second question is: Why the hell am I looking at bicycles on ebay anyway? EVERY TIME I buy or sell something on there, I end up in grief.
FFS, the last thing I bought (for less than 5 pounds) resulted in the seller getting pissed off (after I paid!) and he is *still* harrassing me.. I've had to report his emails to ebay. Why? Because I left him neutral feedback, because I thought his items were misleadingly advertised.. and he is still emailing me to tell me what a fuckwit I am, and how he's going to interfere with and ruin any future auctions that I may start. Lovely example of a professional ebay trader there.. >:/

Oh, btw - if any of you out there are selling a bicycle in London secondhand at the moment.. let me know, ok? I want to start riding one again, but since I have never managed to own a bike for a full year before having it stolen and/or trashed in this city, I don't see the point in buying anything expensive. Just means the thieves will make more money off it later..

Butterworths do discounted insurance for LCC/CTC members. It works out at about 10% of the bike's value pa.

Loot has ads for bikes, but they're typically of the £50 from Halfords variety...

yeah.. ideally I'd like a second-hand bike of something that was originally 200-300.. ie. not ludicrously expensive, but also not as crap as the Halford's gear.
