Yeah, it definately appeared to be polling a remote server.. Tracks available locally (ie. in some sort of LRU cache) were 50p, whereas tracks that it needed to download were £1 and required a short delay whilst it fetched them.
Now all they need is a jukebox dedicated solely to that sort of music. No point having imminent playing if it is followed by Bryan Adams or something :p
