Driving a van is harder than it looks
Driving a van around London for hours and hours is Very Headache Inducing
Move was eventually completed successfully. £45 for hiring a van for 24 hours was worth it, esp when you divide that by three people. (But add on money for petrol.)
Next time, someone else is driving though!
Landlords suck. So do Foxtons.
Landlord specifically told Foxtons not to do inventory or cleaning of the house, despite these being requirements of the contract

The phone line doesn't work. BT are coming around tomorrow to fix it. Well, they say they're coming around, but we'll see...
Central heating w/thermostat, gas hob and hot water, big lounge, nice area, nice location, nice rooms, server room, etc. = nice house. yay, finally.
No net access, but I have been wiring ethernet around the place properly, and apparently Alex has sorted out some distant wireless node for us last night, until phone+dsl is sorted.
Didn't make it out to psygate+antiworld on saturday night, due to being completely worn out from move, and i just dissolved into an alcoholic stupor fairly rapidly.
