Hey, it's only a month late!

Edit: Fixed link to slideshow, sorry!

Stars. Wow. I remember those!

Also: Is it weird that I just tried to work out which direction you were facing in?

South, I think. My method's probably falsely remembered, though.

I think that's looking very roughly south, if my memory of the geography there is correct.
That is the Church of the Good Shepherd.

The Wanaka lake ones are lovely - my favourite lake!

Ooh, those are lovely. Especially the ones with the mountains in the background. Mountains! I want to go to New Zealand now.

(by the way, there's a stray " in the URL linking to the slideshow)

Oops, it was late by the time I finished. Thanks, I've fixed the link now.

Nice!

But you're breaking my page flow, man.

Also, on my Dell 2405 set to a darker, higher contrast setting for gaming.. all I can see is black and stars :)

Heh and there I was, about to reply with "Get a wider monitor then, loser!" to the first comment..

Superb photos :)

Amazing shots - definitely inspires the urge to sling some stuff into a rucksack and hit the trail...

I would increase the exposure (in that case we would see stars moving) but I think, "still" picture is more attractive.
Love your photos!

I agree, would be better if the picture was a bit brighter, but I couldn't go for a longer exposure for the reason you mention (stars blur), but I couldn't really up the ISO on the D200 any further.
(And opening the lens up wider wasn't satisfactory either)

Oh well.. the D700 should solve that problem next time! :)
