WTF?
I've now received two strikes from Facebook for spamming people with their mail system..
What on earth am I doing? I probably average only one message a day, usually to only a couple of people, and with differing content.

Gnrgh. It's probably just the machine being broken :/ (Or, are some of my friends clicking on "Report spam" on my emails to you??)

Hmm. I know that FB can be somewhat overenthusiastic about people spamming on Facebook - several of my friends, sending out mass messages as part of a group or event have had warnings, but, if your usage summary is correct, there's no reason you should be getting them, unless, as you say, the machine is broken.

It does worry me that someone could have access to your account, too. Have you thought about changing your password, perhaps?

That's happened to me once in the past too: messaging to a group of friends to organise a party. I think their machine is broken in regards to multi-people messages?
