You know you're not looking good when...

You know you're not doing well when the first thing someone says to you after you've dragged yourself into work is: My god, you look awful!

I seem to have been sleeping v. badly this week. Getting to bed too late; insomnia; and anxiety dreams and nightmares when I am asleep. You know the sort where you wake up at 5am and are wondering "was I screaming or just imagining it?".

I also seem to have developed a craving for jasmine green tea.

Insomnia is the devil. You don't realise what a beautiful thing sleep is once you've experienced problems!

Nothing wrong with jasmine green tea addiction. :)

Is there caffeine in it?

Have you been eating cheese again?

Nightmares and insomnia suck. :( Has there been much on your mind recently that would cause them? Are your nightmares full of leopards and things that are fubar?

Green tea tends to contain caffeine, so that might not help?

Aw no, I'm sorry. I am in a mental state where I should be having them at the moment and I'm not (instead I am dreaming about doing my students' exams for them o_O go figure). Perhaps they have tunnelled through the earth and infected you instead.

Hmmm. You *do* know that Green tea can cause hallucinations (and probably bad dreams etc.) if taken in large doses? Ease up, mate.
