Summer? Not quite.

I saw a sign yesterday that read "SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE" outside a shop (presumeably selling summer-related items). I thought it was a bit over the top, but still.. it's undeniable that it is beginning to feel like the beginning of spring, at least.

So I weeded the garden yesterday and planted stuff. I'm terrible at gardening, but what I lack in skill (or talent, or clue), I replace with enthusiasm and wild abandon. I wonder if any of the strawberries will survive at all? :)

Cherry tomatoes were good two years ago If I remember correctly - but not to be planted out till frosts stop.....whenever that happens these globally warmed days.

Lucky you! You have a garden?

Yep, a little one out the front, and a bigger one out the back.

Neither of my housemates are even remotely interested (and in fact, I doubt they even go into the garden!), so I get free reign over it.

I had a nice little crop of tomatoes and chilli peppers and potatoes the other year, although how they survived, I don't know!

Do you want chilli seedlings at some point in the future? I'm probably going to have a glut.

I'm really happy that the daffs we planted are out (as I tend to have a bit of a brown thumb) :-)
