Playing around with maps.google.co.uk, I came across this unnamed airport, which should have a lovely totally-black aircraft under your cursor if you follow that link. I think the airport is a RAF airbase.
Now, tonight - See some of you at the Old Red Lion, then over the road to Bangface - Ravers of the lost arc. I'm sure it'll be very silly :D

Date: 2006-02-10 04:40 pm (UTC)It's RAF Fairford and it is clearly marked (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=415500&y=197500&z=4&sv=415500,197500&st=4&ar=N&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf) on Ordnance Survey maps. Less clearly marked is that it was, during the cold war, leased to the USAF.
SAC, if I recall correctly. The width of the taxiways is a giveaway, only B-52's need that kind of space.
