Dec. 24th, 2006 05:19 pm5pm on Christmas Eve. Have just discovered a waste pipe has burst, behind the cupboards in our kitchen.
Having got to it, my hands now smell like shít, and I can't even tell how it *used* to work - as far as I can see, the pipe is actually about 5-10cm shorter than it needs to be, and thus is impossible to have securely attached at both ends. Our landlord is a total DIY cowboy, and I know this is his handiwork. He's also in Pakistan for a month, and his mobile phone goes straight to voicemail.
Once again - if you want it done properly, you have to do it yourself. *fetches the sealant we used last time something like this happened*
