Customer "service"
Jun. 21st, 2006 01:31 pmToday's time-wasting annoyance is my attempt to get a replacement stylus for my touch-screen mobile phone.
I'm gradually being escalated through Orange's customer service depts.. They don't actually sell replacement stylii, you see. Although increasing threats are getting them agitated - ie. of bringing legal action against them for selling phone with a design flaw (ie. loseable stylii) while at the same time customising their build such that generic replacements don't fit.
Supposedly the call centre manager is on the phone now to someone "quite high up" in Orange. So maybe they might, in the future, stock replacements.
Why is everything so fucking hard? I just want to pay someone a tenner and get a few more stylii.. Grr..
Edit: Hoorah. Replacement pack on its way, albeit at a fiver per stylus - I've got three. Hopefully that'll last me out until the end of the year!
