It seemed like a good idea at the time...
Nov. 2nd, 2005 04:00 pmI'm still not feeling better yet, although I'd say i'm 90% better physically. Still feeling a bit down and generally stressed at times, but don't need LJ *hugs* comments, cheers. I seem to be developing a nice phobia of my telephones.. The calls are generally not *bad*, but it just is going to be yet more stuff dumped on my plate - requests for CVs, agents wanting me to arrange interviews, insurance crap, jobs, police calling re that scooter theft I reported, and so on. Can't people just email and let me get back to them when I'm ready? No.
Here's the result of some gratuitous retail therapy. I wasn't sure it was all going to fit for a while, but got there in the end. I'm just glad TFT monitors don't suffer from magnetic field issues.
Sounds damn nice though, even if the ideal listening position is near the far wall. I had got sick of having crap PC speakers in my room, and the floorstanders in the lounge are kind of crap, and too big to fit in my room neatly anyway.
