You might be vaguely interested to note that after ditching the Doonesbury comic strip from the Guardian, that section's editor wrote My Doonesbury hell, as a response to the fact that on the day/day-after the Guardian significantly changed its format and layout, around 50% of all correspondance received was "what happened to Doonesbury?!?".

New anti-terrorism laws in Australia
Sep. 27th, 2005 02:18 pmProbably already blogged elsewhere by now, but: Australia's new anti-terrorism laws are passed. At least there is what they've called a sunset clause - a ten year lifetime on the laws, and a review after five.
