Not a good day so far..

It hasn't been great today.

I woke up to find my motorbike had gone walkabout.
Some investigation discovered it had been shifted by a couple of blokes who had apparently needed to move it in order to get some sort of vehicle thru the area. Not at all neccessary IMO, given where my bike is normally parked, but they were fairly polite and there wasn't too much I could complain about, since the bike was still in the same area, albeit not visible from my bedroom window. Plus I was late for work already by this time.

I took non-wet-weather gear, but then it poured on me at exactly the moment i had gone for lunch. It stopped raining once i made it back to the office! Grr. I bet it starts when I go to ride home soon.

A very large compile I started last night, died about five minutes into it, meaning I spent most of today watching code trickle past. (Albeit while doing other work, so it's not like its a major loss. Just annoying.)

I've spent most of the day being interrupted by minor support requests from people (ie. can you tell me how many SMSes we sent for this campaign? .. but broken down into per-week). Great way to lose your train of thought. I have techniques to avoid this, but wasn't feeling particular motivated/mean enough to use them.

Meh. Anyway, going home soon..

Oh sh*t! (Spammers)

My cpan email address is now being used as the (forged) from address for some spammers!

I'm receiving shedloads of bounces, and will have to deal with nine levels of hell to get my domain unblacklisted soon, no doubt :/
