A pleasant Saturday
Jun. 17th, 2006 06:30 pmI went to Synthetic Culture for a few hours last night; as I predicted, I spent most of the night just sitting outside on the astroturf, chatting to friends. SC is really taking the piss with their drinks prices now: FOUR POUNDS for a pint of nasty stella. Ugh. Only drunk two of 'em, and one of those was bought for me.
Today I cycled down to Angel for a late lunch and coffee, and then went on a long gentle cycle east along the Regent's Canal towpath. I went as far as Victoria park, cycled around it for a bit, and then returned. It was very pleasant, and I stopped occaisionally to take photos. I'll upload those a little later. I should do this more often.
Heading East from Angel is easier than West. Much less people on the path, and no crowds of young babybats hanging around under the bridges.
