Quick bike update

The Hornet is back from the garage; turns out that the alarm (fitted by professionally on behalf on first owner) was wired in really badly, and was shorting out where it was soldered onto the loom. Yes, it had been fine up until the service, but probably was snapped as a result of the loom getting pulled around during the work they did - however if it'd been fitted properly, that wouldn't have happened.
The garage offered to split the bill with me, which I think is fair, and paid up my share.
Hopefully that's the last issue I'll have with it!
