Three out of Three - do I win yet?
Jan. 29th, 2006 02:26 amUp to the 27th of January, 2006 was turning out remarkably well.
The 28th appears to be trying to undo everything, however.
After pushing my motorbike two miles home due to an electrical fault that has appeared immediately after servicing it, I ate, and collapsed into bed for a while, exhausted.. then later at night, it seemed like a good idea to go out and work off some tension by jumping around like a mad thing at Strength Through Joy, the old-school industrial night.
This plan was going well, and doing a reasonable job of preventing my head from exploding due to sheer annoyance at the prior day's events.
Then, my glasses flew off my face, broke apart, and landed under feet on the dance floor during a particularly stompy track. People helped me recover them, but they're not wearable.
And, I live in the country with the most ludicrous prices for spectacles in the world. YAY!
