Dreams within dreams within dreams
Dec. 7th, 2005 10:00 pmDreams are always strange, but I had one recently that really threw me.
I was dreaming of myself. This other me, Dream-Me, was worried. He/I was worried about these recurring, disturbingly realistic, dreams He/I was having. These dreams.. they seemed just like real life, except of course, He/I knew they weren't real.
Then, one of those dreams occured to Dream-Me - and that dream-within-a-dream was just like Real-Me's real life.. A memory, sane and clear, that one couldn't seem to wake up from. Then it ended, leaving Dream-me worried and ill at ease, but relieved at the same time that it had gone.
Then *I* woke up. Into real life.. that seemed exactly like the dreams dream-me had been experiencing, of course. I couldn't tell if it was a continuation of my dream, another of those pesky realistic dreams.. or if I'd woken up.
