Legitimate MP3 album download? I'll buy one for a couple of bucks..

I have just bought "Shimmer & Fade" by Bitcrush from en:peg digital for the princely sum of USD$2 for the MP3 version of the album. I wonder if the artist, Mike Cadoo, receives more or less royalties for that, than from the real CD of the ENARC album I bought for €10, which I immediately ripped to MP3 anyway?
