Downtime

My home ADSL is down currently. I've logged a fault report with Bulldog.
I've also requested a free upgrade to 8Mb from our 2Mb DSL; the upgrade turned out to cost £1, but they're throwing the first month in free, along with a free modem. Not complaining.. upgrade due in about three weeks; two hours downtime while it happens.

So, I'm not getting mail at the moment. Comment here if you'd like to let me know anything in the meantime, or get me on ICQ/Yahoo/MSN/Jabber.

Broadband has been restored.

Disturbingly, I don't think it was even Bulldog's fault - diagnosis of my system, once I arrived home from work, showed that the username and password for the DSL had been blanked out locally.
Ermm.. Cue me screaming WTF? and then reentering it and having it work.

Confused. Embarrassed. But I'm still getting an upgrade to 8Mbit :D
