(no subject)

I wonder what the neighbours think?
Every time I go and work on the bike, I end up finishing up by tearing up weeds and stuff in the garden. Usually fairly erratically and violently.
I currently have a pile of compressed weeds about measuring about 1.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 metres. It's quite large.
It's probably a good thing it's spring and weeds are growing like crazy.

I'm about to go and have yet another attempt to fix stuff. If that fails, I swear I'm going to buy the 2003 Honda Hornet I posted about yesterday afternoon. It's blue. It's shiny. I could have it back here later today. It also represents a significant amount of my disposable income for the rest of the year. :/
[Edit: It sold to someone else, with 5 seconds remaining. I was kind of hoping it wouldn't sell on ebay.]

Bike Update

*sigh*

I replaced all the needle valves, floats, even the little metal bits the floats pivot on, in case they were minutely warped.
Put it all back together, put it on the bike, and one again it just pisses petrol all over the place. What the fuck?
I had the neighbours get annoyed at the noise I was making (starting and revving bike for 20 seconds, a few times).
Gave up.

I think I'm going back to bed, can I start today over?
