I have a day off work, today, and now my feet are wet.
This is because I needed to mop the kitchen floor, and I did this wearing socks.
I needed to wear socks, because my shoes were muddy, which was why the kitchen was muddy and needed mopping.
My shoes were muddy because I had decided to plant some flowers and a vine in the front garden.
I decided to plant them, because there were big ugly gaps in the ground. These gaps were from my obsessive weeding session that had started when I arrived home after lunch.
And so that is why my feet are wet - but maybe my garden will look happier soon?
The cider I brought back from Somerset is sitting in the corner of my room, and eyeing me up. It looks tasty, but it's only half past three in the afternoon. I shall go purchase some cloudy apple juice instead.
