AAAAAAAAAAAAArgh

Today is rapidly turning out be completely screwed up.
* I received a large fine in the post (for turning left thru a bus lane)
* Ellen never arrived home from the hospital
* I have a splitting headache
* I must have knocked out my nose piercing during the night, and this morning I could not manage to force my spare (a ring instead of a stud) thru as it appears to have closed up well.
* The toilet has broken and won't flush, and I can't work out how to fix it.
