There's a StopWar.org.uk demo on Sunday, under the banner "TIME TO GO - BUSH OUT - TROOPS OUT". I'm thinking of heading along; maybe give me a yell on Sunday at lunchtime if you're heading in too?

Thursday and Friday update

Last night we went to a surprise birthday dinner (most excellent that it was, Mathias!) for kjersti, at "The Wapping Project".. a fantastic converted power station.. old turbines lying around us with candles sitting on top of flat corroded surfaces. Definately cool.
I didn't get enough time to chat to Kjersti much, there were just too many other people and not enough Kjerstis.

In other news, the dodgy Foxtons agents still haven't even repaid us the three hundred extra quid they said they would, nor has the document detailing all their subtractions arrived by post yet. Hmmph. They didn't return my emails today, either.

No news on getting my money back from the scam company I ordered the phone battery from, either.

Still no word from "New Wave Resourcing", a UK recruiting company that I've been trying to get to stop emailing me spam - for the past six months. I've moved my threats onto their upstream hosting provider and their spam-merchant friends, "email-bureau.co.uk", and have drafted and printed a final demand letter that I'll be posting via recorded delivery. That's the final step I have to take before the government will prosecute them. Grr.

I've also registered a complain against Royal Mail in regards to the birthday present I sent that vanished.

The only good news is that the Diesel ECRM site/database/stuff I've been building started coming together (I'd been battling bugs for a while) today. It's long way from finished, but as of this evening, various component parts started talking to each other, using final versions of the database schema and some skeleton XSL templates.
