Grr

OK, so last night I went home, and updated the DSL box's kernel from 2.4.22 to 2.4.24. This wasn't as easy as it sounds, because it involved adding some patches for PPTP masquerading, and my own personally hacked-up driver for the PCI ADSL card. (Source code was available for the 2.4.3 kernel, and someone else had patched it up to 2.4.8 standard, but I have been maintaining mods to it from there onwards...)

Anyway, fast forward a lot of hours and eventually it all worked happily.

Then today Linux Kernel version 2.4.25 is released!

Here we go again..

(ps. 2.6.3 out as well, which is what i run on the rest of the PCs)
