Hey hey!

Remember I found that 7" vinyl single a while back? By some band even the internet hasn't heard of? And I put up on ebay?

It sold! for a whole £1.70

Only downside is that it's been bought by some Yank who didn't bother reading the auction properly; not only did he probably think he was bidding in USD, but also wanted to pay by Paypal, which I didn't have down as an option.

He's now going to post me an International Money Order for what i worked out to be the right amount for postage to the states, including packaging materials, and the bank's commission for converting the currency when it arrives etc. I think he's posting via surface mail to save money.

I wonder when/if it'll ever arrive?

In other news: Spent the evening playing Counterstrike with Team Spleen. My eyes hurt.

WTF?

A teenager wearing denim, hoody, and a baseball cap knocks on the office door. Someone lets him in, and he announces he's hear to check the alarm sensors. He proceeds to wander around the offices and checks the location of the sensors. He stands still until the red LED goes off on the alarm sensor on the wall, and then waves his arms around to see if it goes on again. He repeats this process in various locations in each office, then lets himself out and leaves.

He's *probably* an alarm technician or something. A rather young and unprofessionally dressed alarm technician. Probably. But it's not like anyone actually checks these things or not.
