Weekend + Crunch again.
Jan. 5th, 2004 01:24 amFriday: Went to the Ballroom, and Carrie saw Full Tilt for the first time, which resulted in giggling for hours. I was drunk, and probably talked a lot of crap to people. I suspect I'm a boring, over-bearing, over-hyped, one-sided conversationalist when drunk. Sorry.
Had fun, anyway, and was so trashed that I went for a walk to get a kebab on the way home.
Saturday: Did nothing.
Sunday: We got up earlier than usual, and rode the bike down to Richmond Park. Walked around there a bit, and saw animals and sunlight and nice views and stuff. Rode home.
Unfortunately, we were almost all the way home, when some guy on camden road going in the opposite direction decided to turn right - across our lane, in front of us. Crunch. Two seconds later we have bruises and a broken wing mirror. After ensuring Carrie is OK, and getting bike and car off the road, we get down to brass tacks: Namely, the traditional exchanging of details. Except, these two guys don't want to. I threaten to call the police, and then call them. Police arrive, and tell the guys that they can either exchange details, or get arrested for driving without due care. They agree to exchange details, and the police leave.
I take photos of damage, Carrie goes home, and then we go to the Royal Free A&E to get her shoulder checked out. We were so planning on going to the pub to round off a nice day, but.. :(
*grumble*
I'm so sick of drivers who have no fücking clue. And these bruises are going to hurt more in the morning :( (Carrie already hurts enough now though)
